• ACLS, BCLS, PALS, NRP, CHEMO, TNCC, NIH Stroke Certification, EFM, and other certifications may be required depending on the unit. Verification of state license and additional certifications required.

  • Travel/Contract position for Registered Nurse at IU Health Methodist Hospital
  • Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will no longer allow IN RN's to work at their facilities with exception to Periop/OR RN's, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers.
  • Charge pay offering, with a $3.00 bill rate bump per hour.
  • Shift Requirements: 4x12 or 3x12.
    • Job Requirements
    • ACLS and BCLS certification required.
    • Minimum 2 Year Experience required; consideration for MedSurg RN with ICU and PCU patient experience with additional two years.
    • Must be able to float to different levels of care with provided resources if needed.
    • Staffing Ratios: PCU assignments are 1:4 and MedSurg assignments are 1:5-6.
      • Schedule Information
      • Contracted Shifts: Make up day during pay period required for call-ins, or shifts will be added at the end of the contract based on FTE status.
      • Weekends: Travelers expected to work every other weekend; consecutive weekends may be based on need.
      • Unit charge nurse responsibilities may be required depending on operational needs, with provided training and resources.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit: Cardio-pulmonary unit with an emphasis on pulmonary.
        • Primary patient population includes cardiac medical, valve replacements, lung conditions, trach-to-vent, flu, TB, and COVID19.
          • Additional Details
          • COVID vaccine required as of 9/1 for all travelers; medical or religious exemptions accepted with doctor's note.
