  • Job Details
  • Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN's to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9/9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11/30).
  • **Periop/OR RN's, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline.
  • IU Health is now offering charge pay, which is a $3.00 bill rate bump per hour
  • Traveler must have IN/Compact license in hand or have submitted their fingerprint application package for their license to apply for this position.
  • First Time Travelers Accepted
  • Shift Requirements: 4x12 or 3x12
  • IU Health University and Methodist are teaching facilities and require all travel nurses to agree to the possibility of precepting and/or being assigned students to shadow them while on assignment.
    • Job Requirements
    • MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS, WEEKEND REQUIREMENT WILL BE BASED ON UNIT NEEDS. TRAVELERS MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 50% OF THE WEEKENDS IN THEIR CONTRACT.
    • Traveler must have IN/Compact license in hand or have submitted their fingerprint application package for their license to apply for this position.
    • Skillset Requirements: Minimum 2 Year Experience and Level 1 Trauma Experience Preferred
    • Floating Requirements: Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed at both University and Methodist Hospitals

      • Shift Requirements: 4x12 or 3x12
      • *** Call-Ins: If a traveler call-ins for a contracted shift, they are expected to make up the day during the pay period.
