IU Health Southern Indiana Physicians is hiring! We are seeking
a patient-focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join
our Hospitalist team at our Bloomington Hospital. We place an
emphasis on excellence and compassion, collaborative work
environment where growth and continued education is encouraged and
fostered, and focus on quality of the individual as well as quality
of care provided. The ideal candidate will have experience that led
to independent thinking and the ability to practice autonomously.
Successful providers will take initiative, problem-solve and enjoy
a working collaborative environment on a large team.Position
Details:
- Full-time, days, three 12-hour shifts per week (rotating
days)
- No call, 100% inpatient
- 10-12 patient encounters per day
- No procedural requirements
- Hospitalist team includes 35 physicians and 7 APPs Key
Responsibilities:
- Discharge prioritization
- Collaborate with physicians for discharge preparation
- Providing patient and family education
- Co-manage with multiple subspecialty servicesQualifications:
- ACNP, FNP or PA certifications required
- Must be board eligible or certified
- Must be licensed or license eligible in Indiana
- Preferred experience in ICU/PCU/Cardiac Care as bedside nurse

Hospital and Regional Academic Health Center opened in December
