Job Description:
We are seeking a patient-focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician
Assistant to join our Community Medicine Cardiology team! This
opportunity focuses on providing care for adult Electrophysiology
patients in the outpatient setting at IU Health Saxony and North
Hospitals. Position Details:
- Full Time, Day Shift
- 4 10-hour weekday shifts per week (7:00am-5:30pm)
- No weekends, nights or call
- 100% Outpatient
- Work directly with a team of 8 physicians and 5 APPs
- No procedural requirements Qualifications:
- Candidate must be Board Eligible or Board Certified
- Master s Degree required
- Will accept an ACNP, AGNP, FNP or PA
- If new graduate, ICU/PCU nursing experience or extensive ICU or
Cardiology experience during clinical rotations required
- 2 years Electrophysiology experience highly preferred
- Ideal candidates have a deep understanding of heart rhythms,
arrhythmias, and implanted device follow-up (pacemakers, ICDS,

treatment. The hospital offers the only 24/7 coverage for urgent
heart care in the city of Fishers, and is home to the IU Health Hip
and Knee Center (where more hip and knee replacements are performed
than any other IU Health facility in the state).IU Health Saxony
