Indiana University Health Physicians has an exciting opportunity
to be a part of expanding women's health services. We are growing
the OB Emergency Department, seeking an experienced APRN, CNM or PA
for 100% inpatient triage at Riley Maternity Tower.Position
Details:
- Full-time, 12-24 hour shifts rotating days, weekends, and
holidays
- No call
- Work independently, 100% inpatient, with in-house OB Laborists
& IUSM Resident teams available to assist and consult as
needed
- Fast paced, Level 4 academic perinatal center with dedicated
10-bed OB Emergency Department
- See low to high-risk, complex patient populationKey
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for physical evaluations, facilitating care,
calling appropriate consultations and facilitating admission for
patients needing inpatient care
- Advance Practice Provider clinical care with high autonomy and
strong collaborationQualifications:
- Must be an ACNP, FNP, WHNP, CNM or PA
- Minimum two years of experience in an OB setting required;
high-risk experience preferred
- Obstetrical inpatient experience preferred
- Experience with complex, high risk triage, perinatal and

OverviewIU Health and IU School of Medicine Department of
Obstetrics and Gynecology physicians deliver at the Maternity Tower
at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, IN. Opened in 2021,
the tower has the accommodations to support traditional birth
plans, and the experience of exceptionally and nationally ranked
pediatric and adult specialists to care for high-risk pregnancies
and babies with critical needs. The facility is designed so that
pregnant patients and newborns have access to highly skilled care
under the same roof. The Maternity Tower houses maternal fetal
medicine specialists, midwifery services, an obstetrical intensive
care unit (one of a handful in the nation), an obstetrical
emergency unit and a level IV NICU.
