There is a New position for Hematology/Oncology APP in Indianapolis, IN. Fun area with lots to do! The position is great pay in a great facility - Outpatient CancerCenter!

WILL CONSIDER NP OR PA
--- Support staff: Patient Support Specialists, Utilization Management, Financial Counselors, MA, Chemo nurses, pharm tech with back up remote pharmacist support, other APPs on site, triage nurse
--- Coverage Type: 4x 10s or 5 x 8s highly prefers 5 x 8s due to hours of clinic
--- Schedule Details: Monday-Friday; fulltime
Work Details:
--- Facility Type: Outpatient CancerCenter
--- Practice Setting: Community
--- EMR/Charting Software: ONCO; Charting: Dragon or type directly into EMR which is ONCO via pre-built note templates
--- Avg. Daily Census: 18-20
--- Patient Age Group: adult
--- Procedures: Seeing office visits only; both Oncology/Hematology; Strong assessment and Documentation skills; Independent clinical decision making. Will need to learn physician preferences for care and treatment. New evaluations are seen by the MD. There is infusion center inhouse. 17 chairs. If there s a bad infusion reaction, patients get sent to Ascension.
Requirements:
--- Board Certifications Req d Oncology, IM, or FP.
--- State License(s): required
--- Certifications: BLS
Credentialing Timeframe: about 30 days
