contract duration(local is within 50 miles of home address to
contracted facility)**For 48-hour contract, OT is paid out after 48
hours**Their application MUST show some 1:5 ratio experience in the
Work History section for SD or PCU, otherwise, the managers will
not review it. Be sure this is added to the application prior to
submitting in order to avoid delay. Also note, ICU exp does not
count towards SD/PCU exp at this facility, therefore, you MUST have
SD/PCU experience to be considered. **Unit is trialing team nursing
where two nurses and a PCT partner together to care for a group of
patients. The goal of this model is to divide the work and not the
patients ultimately, improving both the workload and patient care.
During this trial, nurses may function in either team nursing or
primary nursing depending on the status of the trial.36 or 48
hours**Must have vent exp and EPIC experience** **Targeted patient
ratios are 1:4, but they can be up to 1:5-6**Must have the
following requirements:--- Pass an online EKG tele competency
assessment before starting the assignment. --- BLS, ACLS required-
must be able to read and interpret strips--- Must have Vent
experience --- Nurses will be fitted for N95 prior to working on
the HRRU unit unless PAPR is offered/needed.1.5 years exp and some
level 1 or 2 preferred --- Travel experience preferred Floating and
Other Requirements: --- Traveler will be first to float at
Premier's discretion. Agency will float in/out of specialty
clusters. It will be assigned a medically appropriate assignment or
support the nursing care team of the unit floated to, including
high-risk respiratory unit/COVID.--- If assigned to MVH, this could
include floating main campus (Dayton) south campus (Centerville)
less than 10 miles from Main Campus and North Campus (Englewood)
less than 15 miles from Main Campus. --- Traveler must be available
to work every other weekend/holiday. --- Premier Health reserves
the right to cancel 2 shifts due to low census per 13-week
contract. --- Premier Health reserves the right to cancel agreement
with 2 weeks' notice without fee or fine.--- Travelers are not
eligible for Premier health employee incentives.--- Premier Health
reserves the right to cancel 3 shifts due to low census per 13-week
contract/2 shifts for an 8-week contract--- Premier Health reserves
the right to cancel agreement with 2 weeks' notice without fee or
fine Unit Details:Working with Tele/drips/ventsPatient population
primarily consists of COPD, CHF, Pneumonia, Flu, Sepsis, Diabetic
Ketoacidosis and Post Covid. With the support of Respiratory
Therapist, we care for trach, vents, bipaps and high-oxygen
requirements. We see insulin drips for both our DKA and DKA
population as well as heparin Cardizem and sporadic other drips.
Trach/vents on unit no orally intubated patients.--- Navy Blue
ScrubsRTORequest RTO with initial submittal; NO RTO will be added
after the offer. RTO approval will be at the Manager's discretion.
Submittal email must include application and current Nursys report,
and other certs are not needed if listed on the application.Tact
