  • Job Details
  • Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN's to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9/9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11/30).**Periop/OR RN's, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS**
  • Pre-Screening Question: Does this candidate have experience with Collodion/glue EEG hook-up?
  • Clinicians must be okay with working 5 x 8 days during their first week or two for training and must be okay with all patient populations and floating between Riley (peds hospital) and Methodist if asked.
  • Shift: 3x12 19:00-7:30
  • Types of Cases: Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, sEEG, Neurotelemetry, Ictal SPECT, routine EEG, Trauma, Critical Care.
  • Riley covers the adult hospital next door (University), so at time the team has to go do hookups, routines, and monitor adult patients. We also have a MLD unit at Riley that has adults that need Neuro services and at times we help monitor adult patients from across the system.
  • Years of experience REQ: 2 years
  • First timers accepted: Yes, if other requirements are met
  • Locals accepted: Yes
  • RTO Restrictions: Must work 2/3 major holidays. 1 Pre-Approved Time-Off Per Contract
  • Guaranteed Hours: 8 and 10 hr. shifts - 40 hrs. in one workweek. 3, 12 hr shifts - 36 hrs. in one workweek. 4, 12 hr. shifts - 48 hrs. in one workweek.
