Hi-Tek Manufacturing is searching for experienced 2nd shift TIG
Welder who wishes to continue his or her career in advanced

differential** 3:30pm-12:00am Mon-Fri *OT may be required as needed

Duties and TasksReporting to the Shift Supervisor, the welder is
responsible for manual TIG welding of production parts and/or TIG
repair of rework parts while maintaining quality and production
standards. The main tasks of the role are the following: produce
parts by loading and positioning component(s) into the weld fixture
and welding components together using methods/equipment defined in
operator work instructions and standardized work instructions.
Perform detailed (final gauge, bend gauge, hand-held gauges, etc.)
dimensional inspection when necessary to determine quality of part.
Communicate any changes, both verbally and in writing. Weld,
assemble, and repair production parts to specified instructions to
predetermined dimensions and tolerancesDaily use of welders, hand
benching tools, and grit blastersPerform deburr operations to
within specified tolerancesCorrectly record and track job-specific
welding wireAnalyze and interpret Op sheets, blueprints, mechanical
drawings, and travelers to produce products that meet or exceed
customer specificationsVerifies conformance of finished workpiece
to customer specifications, using precision measuring tools and
equipment as necessaryMaintains continuity among work shifts by
documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and
continuing needsDocuments actions by updating control charts,
travelers, and reporting labor in the ERP systemPerform under
AS9100 quality standards and NADCAP accreditationMaintains a safe
and clean work environment by performing daily housekeeping
dutiesUpdates job knowledge by participating in educational
opportunities; reading technical publicationsAny other duties as

Welding- Minimum 3 years requiredExperience welding exotic metals
preferredMust be able to pass the D17.1 National Standard Weld
TestMust be able to complete and pass customer weld tests as needed
Have basic mechanical and mathematical skills as related to welding
assignmentsWelding certificate from a Trade School preferred or
acceptable work experience in lieu of schoolingExperience in an
industrial/manufacturing environment, aerospace industry preferred
