Job OverviewAs a key member of our store leadership team, the Prepared Foods Associate Team Leader plays a critical role in ensuring the success of our prepared foods department. This position is responsible for assisting the Team Leader in all aspects of daily operations, including profitability, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, regulatory compliance, and special projects as assigned.Key Responsibilities

• Store Layout and Merchandising: Develop and maintain creative store layouts and product merchandising that drive sales and customer engagement.
• Sales and Purchasing: Work with the Team Leader to achieve sales and purchasing targets, analyzing sales data and labor reports to inform decisions.
• Team Management: Lead and develop Team Members, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations to ensure a high-performing team.
• Customer Service: Foster a positive environment of outstanding teamwork, mutual respect, and exceptional morale, ensuring that customers receive exceptional service and support.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all applicable health and safety regulations, including Food Safety and regulatory duties required in the department.Requirements

    • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
    • In an 8-hour work day: standing/walking 6-8 hours.
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
