Your talents, ideas, and passion are essential to our mission: to help people live better, healthier lives.--The Senior Materials Manager, Supply Chain will be responsible for leading the planning and coordination of all supply chain activities related to raw materials purchasing. This role requires strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and a deep understanding of the unique challenges within the pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This is a full-time, salaried position and is site based. The schedule is Monday - Friday 1st shift.Catalent Biologics in Bloomington, Indiana--is a--state-of-the-art,--GMP--manufacturing--facility,--providing--one million--sq/ft of drug substance manufacturing, drug product manufacturing, and related pharmaceutical services. • Issue and manage purchase orders to ensure timely procurement of raw materials, aligning with production requirements and minimizing the risk of overstock or shortages.
• Establish robust processes to maintain optimal inventory levels that align with manufacturing needs while minimizing financial risks associated with excess or insufficient inventory at the site.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Planning and Manufacturing teams to forecast and plan raw material needs based on production schedules and demand forecasts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, addressing any issues related to quality, lead times, or supply disruptions.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, or supply chain.
  • Master's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years progressive leadership experience
  • Experience in Pharmaceuticals and a strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry, and GMPs.Why you should join Catalent
