Job Description The Supply Chain Planner (SCP) is the focal
point for all supply chain activities. The planner develops and
implements long-term supply chain strategies and networks that
address capacity issues, production location decisions, etc. in
support of business growth and sustainment. The planner supports
execution of programs and coordination of new program / product
launches. SCP monitors key performance indicators, analyzes
performance data, and coordinates cross-functional work teams to
increase effectiveness of supply chain initiatives. The Supply
Chain Planner optimizes how supply chain management interfaces with
manufacturing systems. SCP will plan, prepare, issue and control
material requirements in conjunction with the production schedule.
Planner will support risk mitigation activities impacting the value
chain working with cross-functional teams. The planner ensures that
shipments are accomplished to maintain contract/internal delivery
commitments. SCP will utilize system and process tools to achieve
program / functional goals.As a senior planner, this position
requires that the individual possess a strong understanding of
procurement and planning process steps; the individual must be
capable of troubleshooting process failures to ensure success for
the program. Candidate will be expected to train and mentor junior
level supply chain team members. This position relies on experience
and judgment to organize, plan, and accomplish department
objectives with a wide degree of creativity, continuous improvement
approach, and latitude expected to fulfill a variety of
duties.Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years work experience, or 6-8 years
with a high school diploma or equivalency
- Planning experience in a large multifaceted electronic
manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with defense aerospace industry & regulations
- Significant ERP System Experience (Oracle, SAP, Other),
inclusive of shop floor control systems
- Knowledge of Manufacturing processes
- Ability to verbally and accurately report production status to
program team or factory team
- Ability to analyze, react, and train on exceptions in MRP,
especially around Bills of Material, Material Planning, Purchase
Requisitions, Purchase Orders and engineering change orders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Sales & Operations Experience / knowledge
- Create presentation materials and give presentations to
leadership team, production team, and customers
- Inventory / stockroom management
- Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)Preferred

- Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years work experience
- Strong sense of urgency and follow through
- Root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
- Ability to implement Lean and Six Sigma ImprovementsPay
InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $64440 - $109530Please note:
This range is based on our market pay structures. However,
individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors
including, but not limited to: business considerations, local
market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate
qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Employee
